Back on track
OK. Back in the gym. Pushed myself today. 3.2kms running in just less than 23 minutes. Not at all fast enough, but pleased with the distance all the same. Weight just under 88kgs so I need to keep working on that.
Made a donation to Goal for Haiti. The numbers of people killed and injured are difficult to actually get my head around. I can only think of it in terms of football stadiums.

Haven't quite got to grips with this year yet. Still has the feel of not being real, with the snow and the cold and the thaw and the no water thing and the kid's school opening and then shutting and then opening and then shutting again.
Knee better. Ate and drank like a horse for the last three weeks. Back in gym now. Tired, stiff and sore. Endorphins kick in when exercising and then kick out again when I get home. Crap.
Why can't one just buy endorphins?

Marathon
Sore knee. Didn't run for a week. Ran on the treadmill in gym for 3km. About as far as I could manage. Weight on gym scales 86.9Kgs.
So, lessons are: buy proper running shoes, run more frequently, run on treadmill till I get proper shoes.
